Make Error and Keep Going - Build one habit at a time

 “I’ve failed so many times that I’ve lost belief in myself” is the fastest way to QUITTING on what you want. That's a deadly thought, yet soo common!

Here's the TRUTH: Repeatable success is built FROM making ERRORS and LEARNING from them.

Yes, you read that correctly- doing it wrong (like not sticking to the plan) so you can acquire knowledge.

Errors = opportunities.

Think about a result you would love to have in 6 months. Maybe it’s weight loss, a healthy lifestyle, doubling your income, or improving a difficult relationship.  

When you think about that goal, it’s common for your brain to bring up all your past errors- compiling up evidence to why it’s NOT possible, how it’s been so hard, and that you don’t know how to get there.

You quickly feel discouraged or disappointed-right?

So what do you do then?

Get busy with “all the other things” and convince yourself you just don’t have time to go after your goal. Your energy drains quickly and by the end of the day all you can handle is “checking out”, thinking, “I’ll start tomorrow”.

The problem is NOT caused by something outside of you. Your brain will want to justify and blame everything else.

The solution is NOT a new diet, strategy or relationship. Your brain wants you to stay busy, changing your circumstances: distract, distract, distract.

When you begin to TAKE BACK control over the thoughts you listen to and believe, you change the #1 thing you have 100% control over.

Many weight loss and business clients will say “just tell me WHAT to do and I’ll do it.

Before that, you FIRST have to...

  • Believe in yourself, so you stay committed.
  • Trust yourself, so you can do the things you say.
  • Encourage yourself, so you can learn from your errors.

This is the mindset shift that allows you to make the transformations you never dreamed would be possible, become possible.

A 3 step process that's simple and not easy: Plan. Execute. Adjust.

Most of our clients, in the beginning, don’t plan because they don’t trust themselves to follow it. Or they’ll plan and execute but don’t know how to learn from errors, so they keep doing the same thing hoping for a different result.

It’s a three step approach that is incredibly successful with all of our clients in weight loss, doubling their income, and creating a life they love.

The obstacles you'll run into are: remembering to keep doing it, staying encouraged, and retraining your brain to think differently.

This is a scripture I renew with my mind on the DAILY!

Check in with yourself, "Am I failing on purpose- taking risks, and learning as I go?"
