There are certain emotions that are just a bit more enjoyable to experience than others and in full transparency, if resisting, numbing, or pretending they weren’t there actually worked - I’d be the first in line to learn how to do it.

But the truth is that the more we try to resist an emotion, the louder it gets …and if we numb is or deny it, it’s only a matter of time until it breaks free with a vengeance.
